About Op. Dr. Burcu Karamürsel

She is an English and German speaking obstetrician ang gynecologist that runs a private clinic in Ankara-Turkey. She has graduated from Hacettepe University English Medical School in 1997. She has made an internship in Harvard Medical School Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in 1997.

She passed the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) examination in 1997 and passed the (United States Medical Licencing Examination Step 3) in 2001 and has been certified with a medical licence in USA.

She has completed her residency in the Department Of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hacettepe University in 2002. She has completed a clinical fellowship and research programme in Bonn University with Professor Ullrich Gembruch after winning a Scholarship Competition from TÜBİTAK and Turkish-German Gynecologial Association in 2004.

She become board- certified in 2008 in Turkey. She has published many original research articles in Turkish and foreign medical journals. She has worked in Mesa Hospital and TOBB ETU University Hospital from 2004-2013. She has been working in her private clinic based in Ankara with a branch in Antalya,Turkey since 2013.

She is a Professor in Atılım University, Health Sciences Department, Ankara. She is a member of ISUOG (Intenational Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology) and ACOG (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists). She can speak English and German fluently. She is married with 2 children.
