About Prof. Dr. Sibel Demir Özbudak
Professor Dr. Sibel Demir has been a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for 29 years. She completed her specialization training in 1995, became an Associate Professor in 2007, achieved a subspecialty in "Algology" in 2011, and attained her professorship in 2017.
In 2001, she completed an observership at Columbia University Neurological Institute in New York, USA, with a scholarship from the Turkish Ministry of Health, focusing on the Electromyography (EMG) Laboratory, Clinical Motor Physiology Laboratory, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation departments.
Following her official retirement, she has been serving patients in her private clinic since December 2020. In addition to standard clinical practices, she rigorously incorporates holistic therapies and principles of functional medicine. Her clinical services encompass a wide range of treatments, from mesenchymal stem cell (stromal vascular fraction, SVF) therapy applications to athlete and exercise health management. She also provides parenteral antioxidant therapy, manages food intolerances and metabolic syndrome, and treats fibromyalgia. Additionally, she performs intra-articular injections, including PRP, hyaluronic acid, mesotherapy, and exosome applications.
Professor Dr. Demir has published scientific articles in various journals indexed in major academic databases such as SCI-E, EMBASE, and CINAHL.
